Srijan is a kick-ass Drupal development company based out of India. We are an Acquia Enterprise Partner, have built large portals such as www.mnn.com and www.openthemagazine.com, regularly make community contributions, organise community and business events, and also offer Drupal Training - under the Acquia Training Partner program.

While we've had a Product Engineering team setup for a couple of our clients, we've only recently started building our own products with www.moneno.com being the first such successful launch.

Our size and office locations?

As of Jan 2012, Srijan is about a 40 people company, roughly equally distributed across our two offices in Gurgaon and Dharamshala. We're looking for people across the board to help grow our business - yet, we prefer to grow organically, and are quite choosy about the people we hire.

Culture

Srijan practices a very democratic and transparent work culture. Open salaries, transparency in work orders, company financials have been commonplace for years.

Our transparent and democratic work practices won us the Worldblu World's Most Democratic Workplaces award for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010.

Investors

Srijan is completely self-funded; there are no external investors at the moment. Each of the locations - Gurgaon and Dharamshala - is co-owned by the respective partners and work as a *co-operative of businesses* under the brand name Srijan.

Srijan Foundation Trust

Srijan Foundation Trust, is our social arm through which we run a couple non-formal schools in Orrisa, and support programmes by various non-profits in non-formal education, medicinal plants revival, afforestation, and raising the spiritual index of the world.
